Great Deals at Walgreen's Sept 29-Oct 4

Transaction #1

Here is what I was able to do this morning!
First Items:
5 SoftSoaps on sale for $3.49 each
Used EasySaver Coupon in Booklet -$1.00 for each bottle (gave Cashier only one coupon for all 5 products) Total -$5.00
Printed this coupon http://www.colgate.com/app/Colgate/US/Corp/SpecialOffers.cvsp?Section=OurCompany...one per household for each coupon. (I printed a total of only 4 coupons from all 3 of my computer at my house. The Spa coupon only worked the first time for me. When I tried it again on another computer it said, Sorry, There are no more offers available to print!! But the Nurta Oil coupon still works!
(I paid $8.45 for $5 bottles, but will get $10 Register Rewards. Which will end up that I will have made $1.55 for buying all 5 using my coupons)

Second Items:

3 Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Rapid Release gels $4.99 Each
Used 3 $1.00 off Manufacture coupons Total of $-3.00
Used Easy Saver Coupon $-1.50 off Total of $-4.50
(I paid $7.47, but got back $7 worth in Register Rewards, so I only paid $.47 for all 3...I only did this cause there was talk that some people got $11 back in register rewards. Not in my case, but .47 for all 3 was still worth the chance it me. lol)

Third Item:
Oral B Cross Action Toothbrush on sale for $4.49
Supposedly there is a coupon in this Sundays paper for $.75 off. (I just didn't have this coupon)
(I paid $4.99, BUT got back a Register Reward Coupon for $4.50. Making it FREE! If you have the coupon in this Sunday's paper you will make $.75)

So My total in Register Rewards:
$10 for buying 5 SoftSoaps Body Wash
$5 for buying 3 Tylenols
$2 for buying 3 Tylenols
$4.50 for buying Toothbrush
=21.50 in Register Rewards which you can use in a future purchase.

My total was $22.62
I happen to have $20 worth of Register Rewards from last weeks Robitussin making it only $2.62 for me! But I got back $21.50 In Register Rewards...SWEET!

Since my Walgreen's said corporate is only allowing one set of each Register Rewards per day, I just went to another Walgreen's down the street to do this one. (Not all Walgreen's/Cashier are the same, so try it first if you want to do 2, and if they say no...they say NO. NO loss!)

Transaction #2

First Items:
5 SoftSoaps on Sale for $3.49
Used EasySaver coupon $1.00 off (Total of $5.00)
I didn't have any Manufacture coupons
(Making it 12.45 for 5 bottles, But will print $10 Register Rewards making it only $2.45 for 5 bottles, that is $.49 a bottle. Since I made $1.55 in Transaction #1 I justified it and bought more.)

Second Item:
Oral B Cross Action Toothbrush on sale for $4.49
Supposedly there is a coupon in this Sundays paper for $.75 off I believe. (I just didn't have this coupon)
(I paid $4.99, BUT got back a Register Reward Coupon for $4.50. Making it FREE)

Third Item:
Nivea Body Wash for Men $4.99
Used $1 off Manufacture coupon
(I paid $3.99, BUT will get a Walgreen's REBATE for $4.99. I will MAKE $1.01)

So My total in Register Rewards:
$10 for buying 5 SoftSoaps Body Wash
$4.50 for buying Toothbrush
=$14.50 in Register Rewards

My Total was $22.55, I used 1 $10 off Register Rewards from the Robitussin deal last week, two $5 off Register Rewards, (one $5 RR being from the Tylenol in Transaction #1) Making it only $2.55. I got $14.50 in Register Rewards, and will get $4.99 from the Nivea Rebate, total getting back $19.49! So out of my pocket today I paid $5.17, my tax alone was $3.83. =).

I heard a rumor that they are putting another Walgreens across the street from walmart (by kohl's). I hope it's true, because then it would be so much easier to do the walgreen stuff without driving clear across town. I can't wait...

I did this one....but didn't get as great of a deal. I've had a conscience lately and have to read the fine print on coupons....so even if my computer would've printed more (which it only did one for the softsoap) I wouldn't be able to get myself to use them....SIGH!!! But I got 5 softsoaps, the toothbrush, and some facewash for $3 dollars....I think. So still a good deal! I love that you are doing the hard work for me! And, I love the 'what's to come' so I can prepare...Thanks.

Marci, I heard that rumor too. So hopefully it actually happens!

Kim, I am so glad you got some good deals too. Yes in this case I just used my parents & in-laws address, so that way I could print off more, yes I justified it, but other wise I would have just wanted to call them and ask them to print it off anyways, so I guess it just depends on how you look at it! lol!
