Kmart Double Coupons 4/4-4/10

I just read on Hip 2 Save that select Kmart's will be doubling coupons up to $2, 5 per person per day the week of April 4th 2010 to April 10th 2010! Hopefully your Kmart will be doubling! You can always e-mail Kmart to find out if your store will be participating.

Since my Kmart (Portage) is doubling 5 coupon every day until Dec 19th, up to $2, I went yesterday and did this transaction:

-$8 Using 4 $2/1 PRINTABLE Viva Paper Towels (This coupon is a manufacture coupon good only at Kmart.)

-$.75 Kleenex PRINTABLE
-$.75 After Kleenex Coupon Doubles
=$.49 + $.55 Tax
=$1.04 Out of Pocket!!

Kmart Doubling in SOME stores 5 coupons PER Day with Rewards Card

I read this yesterday on Hip To Save;

"Kmart has a new program called "Shop Your Way Rewards". After signing up (you can do this in-store), you'll get a card and with that card, thru December 19th, they will supposedly let you double 5 coupons per day--up to a $2 value! The registers are programmed to stop doubling after five coupons."

I personally already had the OLD Kmart rewards card, so I have already received my NEW "Shop Your Way Rewards" card last week. However if you sign up for the card today, just make sure you print off your card number or use the phone number you put in on your submission and you will then be able to go participate in this deal today!!

When reading in Hip To Saves comments in THIS post I read that some stores are participating, and some are not. Some stores don't even know they are participating and are, I know HUGE surprise, lol! I did read that Portage, MI area is participating, a reader left this comment;

"I live in Southwest Michigan. There are 2 Kmart stores closing that i am aware of, Kmart on Stadium near WMU, and the Kmart on Westnedge in Portage. These stores are doing the doubling and I asked a cashier yesterday about the program (they had little placards out on the counter about the coupons), she said that they only will double 5 coupons a day w/the shop your way rewards card, i asked her if i could go to another store and do it the same day, and she said that would work. I am trying it today."

I have even read where people are able to double more then 5 a day, by just doing separate transactions at one store. BUT the limit per transaction is 5!!!

Best of luck trying this at your Kmart...(I plan to go tomorrow) I know Kmart is a pain at times to work with, since no one ever knows what is going on, but DO NOT take customer services word for it if they say they aren't doubling with this program...chances are the employees are not aware of it themselves.

Kmart Closure in Portage & Kalamazoo, MI

A friend of mine sent me this article with the depressing news that Kmart will be closing there doors here in Portage & Kalamazoo Michigan!!! BUMMER!!! Thanks Holly for the heads up! =(


Kmarts closing in Portage, Kalamazoo KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Two Kmarts in Kalamazoo County have been slated to close.

The stores are located on Westnedge in Portage and Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo. They will be closed to the public on February 14^th.

Employees received their notice on Thursday. The Portage store has 70 employees, the Kalamazoo location has 63. The corporate office of Kmart says that employees will be informed of any open positions at other locations. Employees who qualify for severance packages will receive them.

A going out of business sale will start at the stores on November 29^th.

I have been in need of some D batteries so I held off until Kmart did there Super Doubles today: (Which again, if your ad does not state they are doubling and usually do...chances are they ARE doubling. This was the case at my location.)

Kmart Super Doubles 9/27-10/3

Just a reminder that Kmart is Doubling again this week. It looks like they are doubling ALL coupons, not just the P&G coupons. To find out if your store is participating click HERE!

P.S. It looks like most Kmart Ads (including my area) are not showing that they are doubling. Like most of you know, if you call ahead NOT all cashiers or even manager know much about what is going on in their own stores. My suggestion is to TRY calling and see what they say, BUT if they say they are not you may want to just stop by and try for yourself to see whether the computers are doubling or not. Best of luck!

Kmart's New Coupon Booklet!

It's back again!! Kmart has come out with there new coupon booklet. This booklet has $62 worth of coupons! All the coupons are manufacturer coupons, so you can use them at any store that accepts manufacturer coupons. (Just make sure the coupon doesn't have Kmart's logo on the it, some store won't accept those coupons.). Make sure you grab your copy the next time your in Kmart!

Kmart Printable $5 off Clearance Coupon

Get $5 off a purchase of $50 or more off clearance priced merchandise at KMart. KMart currently has some great toys on clearance. Last week I was able to grab clearance toys for an ADDITIONAL 50% off. I ended up buying Huggies diapers during last weeks double coupon event and then used my $14 coupon that I got for buying $50 worth of Huggies products on some toys.
I spent $9 and saved $96.26 on all these toys!

Just wanted to give you guys heads up that Kmart will be Doubling again on July 5th through July 11th. This go around you have to buy at least $25 worth of items, BEFORE coupons are calculated!! So you still should be fine! Start clipping and pulling out all those high dollar coupons now.

Kmart Doubles again 6/7-6/13

Rumor has it that Kmart will be doubling June 6th-June 13th up to $2! To see if your Kmart is participating click HERE, after Wednesday or Thursday (new ads are up around then) and check to see! Or you can call Kmart Contact Center at 1-866-562-7848!

(I hear they will only double 10 coupons per day per person...BUMMER, but still worth it)

Kmart WARNING!!!

I mentioned last week how Kmart's ad stated they would be doubling up to $0.75 this week in some areas.
Then I reported how in some areas it was a MISPRINT and they would be doubling up to $2.00!!! Well I a warning you that I called my local Kmart on Saturday and they stated they would only be doubling up to $0.75.
I called Sunday and mentioned I heard it was a misprint and that they would be doubling up to $2, they stated NO they were only doing $0.75!!
Then I call this evening JUST to make sure...and what do you know...THEY ARE doubling up to $2!!! So, lessened learn, either go find out for myself, or CALL everyday to DOUBLE/TRIPLE check!! LOL!
