GRRR Kmart!!

Sorry I have to vent here....

I sent this e-mail on 4/14/09;

I was wondering whether Portage, MI, 49002 or Kalamazoo, MI Kmart was doubling there coupons next week?
Clenece

This was my response on I got yesterday, 4/15;

Dear Clenece,

Thank you for contacting kmart.com. Very sorry but we do not have that information, you will have to contact the stores. Thank you for being a Kmart customer.

WHAT?? I am always told to e-mail or call corporate first.... So I called my local Kmart yesterday and talked to the Manager and informed him about the e-mail response I got from corporate, so he replies back to me saying,
"I haven't heard anything about this, How do you even know that Kmart would be Doubling anyways"...
"UH, online it has been announced that Kmart will be having a double coupon event, and corporate told me to contact you regarding this."
The Manger then tells me, not so nicely,
"NO we are not."
So I think to myself, just two minutes ago you had no idea...and now all of a sudden you know your are not!!!Okay!

He TOTALLY just wanted to get me off the phone! But Whatever right, get over it? lol!
Well today I looked online at KMart.com to see whether next weeks ad was up...sure enough when I type in my zip code it shows my area IS DOUBLING next week. GRR!!!

Seriously I can not stand it when MANAGERS are so quick to give answers when they themselves have no idea what the answers are. What he should have said to me was,
"At this time I do not know whether we will be participating or not, however you are more then welcome to check back with his in a few day."

I guess I just expect too much....Sorry guys I just had to vent that!!

So I am hopefully now that my Kmart will be participating. I printed off the page just in case.

Anyhow, here is something helpful to those who will be taking advantage in this event.

KMART DOUBLES PRICE BOOK $1.00 Doubles Only
KMART DOUBLE PRICE BOOK $2.00 Doubles Only
KMART DOUBLE PRICE BOOK $3.00 Doubles Only

Sorry you got the runaround! The KMart's here are very rude and have that same attitude, so I finally just quit going. Deals or not, I'm not giving my business to corporations that can't even speak respectfully to their customers.
